The Fire Within

The Italcementi Group through Zuari Cement has been exhibiting a commendable commitment and is busy fortifying its position through both organic and inorganic expansions. In the year 2011 the company entered into agreement with Zuari Industries to acquire 74 percent of Gulbarga cement, a project, which is developing 3 million tons per year capacity cement plant in North Karnataka. The company also has two manufacturing units at Sitapuram, Telangana and Yerraguntla, Andhra Pradesh and a grinding centre in Chennai.
